Kittyhawk expands HIP capacity with new vessel for Garden Grove facility

22/06/2026

Press releaseIssued by Kittyhawk Products.

Kittyhawk Inc., a premier provider of Hot Isostatic Pressing services since 1981, is pleased to announce that the company has placed a purchase order for a new 46" x 100" HIP vessel to be installed at its Garden Grove, California facility.

The investment reflects Kittyhawk's continued commitment to supporting the growing demand for Hot Isostatic Pressing across commercial aerospace, space, defence, and other critical industries. As customers continue to face increasing production needs, complex supply chain requirements, and tight delivery timelines, additional HIP capacity at the company's headquarters will help Kittyhawk better serve its customer base with improved lead times and greater scheduling flexibility.

"Kittyhawk has always been focused on delivering quality, reliability, and responsive service to our customers," said Brandon Creason, CEO of Kittyhawk. "This new vessel is another step in our ongoing investment in long-term growth. As demand continues to increase, we want to make sure our customers have access to the HIP services they need when they need them."

The new 46" x 100" vessel will support Kittyhawk's ability to process a wide range of customer parts while strengthening overall throughput at the Garden Grove facility. By expanding capacity, Kittyhawk is positioning itself to help reduce production bottlenecks, support faster turnaround times, and meet the evolving needs of customers operating in highly regulated and performance-driven markets.

For more than four decades, Kittyhawk has served customers in aerospace, defence, automotive, oil and gas, medical, and other markets. The company operates in accordance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards, complies with ITAR and EAR import and export regulations, and holds a Class 07 FFL.

This latest investment reinforces Kittyhawk's focus on speed, quality, and innovation. As manufacturing sectors continue to expand, Kittyhawk remains committed to providing the HIP capacity and technical support customers depend on to keep critical programmes moving forward.
