Mobix Labs, Inc., a U.S.-based provider of advanced, mission-critical electronic components for aerospace and defence applications, today announced a new six-figure production order from a tier-one global aerospace and defence supplier for specialized engine-system components supporting multiple U.S. fighter jet platforms and wide-body commercial aircraft.

The new order marks another expansion of Mobix Labs' aerospace business, extending the Company's participation in critical aircraft engine systems across both military and commercial aviation. It builds on previously announced production activity supporting the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-22 Raptor, as well as Mobix Labs' established presence on the F-35 Lightning II and F/A-18 Super Hornet.

Critical technology for America's fighter jets

The new order covers custom-engineered EMI-filtered connectors designed to protect sensitive aircraft engine control and monitoring electronics from electromagnetic interference.

Modern fighter jets operate in some of the world's most demanding electromagnetic environments, where powerful radar, communications and electronic warfare systems coexist with sophisticated digital engine controls. Mobix Labs' filtering technology helps protect critical engine electronics from interference that could compromise system performance.

Expanding into a commercial aerospace market with record demand

The new production order also strengthens Mobix Labs' participation in commercial aerospace at a time when global aircraft manufacturers face historic demand.

According to aerospace industry trade association ADS, the combined order backlog of the world's two largest commercial aircraft manufacturers reached a record 17,037 aircraft at the end of July 2026, representing more than 12 years of production at prevailing rates.

Aircraft engine supply has emerged as a critical factor affecting the pace of commercial aircraft deliveries, reinforcing the importance of reliable, qualified suppliers throughout the aerospace manufacturing chain.

Mobix Labs believes its U.S.-based manufacturing capabilities and experience producing custom, high-reliability electronic components position it to pursue additional opportunities across military and commercial aerospace programmes.

Building momentum across military and commercial aviation

"From front-line U.S. fighter jets to the world's largest commercial aircraft, engine reliability is nonnegotiable," said Phil Sansone, Chief Executive Officer of Mobix Labs. "This new order reflects the expanding role of our technology in some of aviation's most demanding applications. We are building on our momentum in military aircraft while extending our reach into commercial aviation, serving a global aerospace industry that demands exceptional reliability and performance."

The latest award reinforces Mobix Labs' strategy of expanding its presence in mission-critical aerospace and defence applications through specialised, high-reliability components serving established aircraft programmes.
