07/07/2010

Press releaseIssued by Element Materials Technology, Anaheim (was NTS Anaheim/HQ).

National Technical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTSC) (NTS), a leading provider of engineering services, announced today that its Test Systems Engineering Division has been selected by The Boeing Company to provide Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems in support of its 777 Program. The ATE systems will perform tests on 777 systems, avionics and engines using automation to quickly perform measurements and evaluate the test results.

NTS' extensive experience in building and utilizing ATE systems provides Boeing with a unique competency in the delivery and implementation of ATE systems. The firm fixed price contract will continue through January 2011.

The ability to analyze the design from an end-user's perspective allows NTS to deliver a product that is not only of the highest quality and reliability, but is also easy to use.

NTS Chief Executive Officer William McGinnis said, "We are honored to have been selected by The Boeing Company, a recognized world leader in aviation. Providing solutions to emerging technical requirements for Boeing and other major companies in the commercial aerospace market is a key component of our Engineering Services strategy.

"As we expand our Engineering Services offerings, the opportunities in this market will increase and we will be poised to provide an even broader range of product engineering and testing services to our customers - a one stop shop model," added McGinnis.
