Neo Aeronautics and SIT collaborate in aerial innovations & mobility systems development

Neo Aeronautics, a specialist in the development and provision of aerial personal vehicles, and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop new innovations in both manned and unmanned aerial mobility systems.

The partnership will tap on Neo Aeronautics' expertise in developing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aerial vehicles and SIT's applied learning and research approach to drive innovation in aerial mobility systems and build a pipeline of engineering talent for the aerial technology sector.

Areas of collaboration will involve advanced research and innovation in aerial mobility systems and support for students in technological innovations and entrepreneurship. Neo Aeronautics and SIT will provide students with workplace learning opportunities and innovation projects through SIT's Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP), which will address the emerging needs of the aerial technology industry. Students will also be provided with aerial vehicles for use in complex engineering projects.
