Press releaseIssued by Neo Aeronautics Pte Ltd.

Neo Aeronautics is pleased to announce that it has completed its indoor flight test for Crimson S8, Singapore’s 1st Personal Aerial Vehicle (PAV).

Commonly known as “flying car”, the Crimson S8 v3 incorporates ergonomic design, user-friendly flight control with the latest motor and propulsion technology. Fully designed, engineered and developed in Singapore, the Crimson S8 is developed based on the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 103 ultralight regulations (1982) for the sports & recreation market.

Every One can Fly!

“Being FAA Part 103 compliant means that the flyer does not need a pilot license,” said Dr. Neo Kok Beng, founder & CEO of NEO Aeronautics, “and it fulfils our vision of Every ONE can FLY!”

The company intends to perform outdoor flight test at Pendleton UAS Range (PUR), an FAA-designated test range located in Pendleton, Oregon, covering 14,000 square miles of FAA-approved airspace. Upon successful US flight trial, the company plans to roll out Crimson clubs at suitable USA locations such as scenic and tourist spots, amusement & adventure parks and cable car stations.

Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) & the Low-Altitude Economy

The Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) market, often referred to as the Low-Altitude Economy, is rapidly emerging as a high-growth industry projected to reach $600 billion by 2030 (McKinsey).

The US Embassy in Singapore has been very active supporting NEO Aeronautics for the potential commercialization of Crimsons S8 PAV – through national events like the SelectUSA and Oshkosh Airshow. Through such initiative we have initiate discussions with the state economic agencies and of more than 10 states from Florida to California.
