Parker Aerospace selects Crane ATRU for reliable power conversion on COMAC C919

• Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co., has been selected by Parker Aerospace to supply its ELDEC Auto-Transformer Rectifier Unit (ATRU) to provide reliable power conversion for the COMAC C919 Horizontal Stabilizer Motor Control Electronics (MCE).

• The ELDEC ATRU is a lightweight AC-DC converter with high efficiency and low distortion that converts aircraft AC power to high voltage DC at a continuous 1,500 W. It provides affordable, efficient and reliable power conversion while meeting today's stringent power quality requirements.

Ed Fuhr, Vice President of Power Solutions for Crane Aerospace & Electronics said, “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Parker Aerospace as a trusted supplier of power conversion products for their motor-driven actuation equipment.
