RADIANT Technology introduces Geiger Plus, a new Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector. This product provides CO detection for pilots and passengers. The product is designed in accordance with FAA published guidelines. An additional VOC detection feature provides alerts on exhaust and gasoline vapour, thus further enhancing pilot safety while giving pilots an additional way to detect exhaust leak issues.
The Geiger Plus is now shipping. The predecessor product, Geiger CO, was introduced over two years ago; the updated version has exciting new updates and compelling features:
The LED scale is engineered to FAA guidelines for strength of CO and colour coding thereof. For reference, see Carbon Monoxide, a Deadly Menace (faa.gov).
This new design advises of the possible presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (including exhaust and gasoline vapour) via a distinct, blue LED.
The aural alarm starts at ˜41PPM and changes tone at 100PPM levels thus indicating increasing alarm.
The rechargeable battery gives ˜6 hours of operation along with a 30-minute recharge time from any USB port (to 80% of charge).
