Skyfly close new round of funding to expand engineering team and develop new powertrain and hybrid system

Following the successful start to the piloted flight test programme in 2024, Skyfly Technologies has closed its latest round of funding, allowing us to expand our engineering team and develop our new production ready powertrain and hybrid system to improve on existing performance.

The first Axe eVTOL, built throughout 2024, is progressing well through the flight test programme. The new funding will enable Skyfly to develop and implement new technologies for our future aircraft – this will include upgraded batteries, motors and speed controllers as well as development of the hybrid powertrain which Skyfly has identified as being a major benefit to both our civilian and military customers.
