Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), announced today that its Radar Systems Division received a contract from EADS Airbus Military (formerly CASA) valued at over $2M to supply APS-143C(V)3 radar systems for installation on the CN-235 aircraft in use by the Mexican Navy. The potential to fulfill the Mexican Navy's maritime requirements is an additional 6 of these radar systems.
The APS-143C(V)3, Telephonics' high performance maritime surveillance radar, is durable, lightweight, highly reliable and offers ISAR and SAR imaging as well as outstanding long-range, small target detection.
