The 6300t forging press on track in September 2011

06/09/2011

Press releaseIssued by Manoir Industries.

Manoir Industries confirms the successful start-up of the 6300 t forging press in the Bologne plant (Haute Marne, France).

Several aerospace OEMs have already qualified engine products such as aluminum OGVs (Outlet Guide Vanes), titanium landing gear equipment and high pressure compressor inconel disks.

The Manoir Aerospace business unit is now in a position thanks to this new in- house processing capability to enlarge again its product range by providing critical parts and assemblies for the low and high pressure engine compressors.

The 6300t press start-up matches perfectly with the strong aerospace market growth and the announced development of a new generation of fuel saving, lower NOx emission, less noisy engines
