Treality SVS and Aechelon proudly announce a groundbreaking industry milestone: the achievement of eye-limiting 20/20 resolution on a full 360° rear projection dome display. This accomplishment sets a new standard for delivering true-to-life visual fidelity in immersive training environments.

The latest Treality RP-360c dome display incorporates enhanced native 4K projectors featuring pixel-shift technology, Aechelon’s Nucleus Image Generator (IG), and Treality's warp and blend application programming interface. This system attains true eye-limiting resolution through advanced pixel generation and projection optimization, delivering a level of realism previously thought unattainable. This leap in visual simulation technology enables fast jet pilots to train within hyper-realistic synthetic environments, boosting training effectiveness and delivering significant cost savings.

The Treality RP-360c dome marks the latest advancement in Treality SVS’s rear-projected visual display systems. Featuring a perfectly spherical 360° dome screen, the system maximizes pixel output from every channel and integrates seamlessly with both 4K and 8K projection technology.

Treality's RP-domes are already in use for full mission simulators for aircraft such as the F-16, F-15, and M-346, underscoring the system’s applicability to high-performance training scenarios across global defense platforms.

Mark Saturno, President of Treality SVS, commented on this milestone, stating, “Given its high contrast, full 360° capability, small footprint, and exceptional visual performance, Treality's rear projection dome systems are now the new standard for top-quality rear-projection full mission simulator display systems. This achievement once more exemplifies Treality's commitment to optimizing product performance for the most demanding segments of the flight training market.”

Javier Castellar, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Aechelon Technology, remarked, “This achievement is the result of a close collaboration between both companies to maximize optical resolution by optimizing the Image Generator GPU-to-Display resolution transfer. This enhancement supports real-world deliveries to a discerning, high-end customer.”

Treality will share more details about the RP-360c and its complete portfolio of visual displays at I/ITSEC 2024, December 2-5 in Orlando, Florida.
