Vaeridion and Bosch Aviation Technology sign Memorandum of Understanding for strategic partnership

Bosch Aviation Technology part of the Bosch Group, and Vaeridion have entered into a strategic partnership focused on advancing next-generation aviation solutions for regional aviation sector. The collaboration was announced yesterday at the AERO Friedrichshafen.

Vaeridion is pioneering the development of a nine-passenger-plus-crew all-electric Microliner aircraft designed for distances up to 400 kilometres under IFR conditions. The aircraft will serve as a use case for innovative engineering and manufacturing solutions aimed at electrically powered aircraft, pushing the boundaries of current aerospace capabilities.

Bosch Aviation Technology will bring its extensive multi-technology, testing and manufacturing expertise to support Vaeridion's aircraft development program. This includes leveraging Bosch's renowned experience in electric mobility and aviation including commercial off-the-shelf products and Aviation-Grade Sensors & Control Systems.

This partnership is yet another testament to the strong collaboration between the two companies. Vaeridion has been a proud member of the Bosch Collaboration Campus ecosystem since 2024, when it established its battery development lab on the campus.
