Daher deepens Airbus involvement on A321 and A350

Airbus awarded Daher a second A321 final assembly line contract and renewed widebody outfitting deals for its A350 and A330 programmes.

Daher is growing its industrial services presence on Airbus' final assembly lines in Toulouse, France, after winning new work on a second A321 line and renewing cabin outfitting contracts for the A350 and A330.

Since 2022, Daher has supported the Jean‑Luc Lagardère A321 final assembly line. Airbus has now awarded the company the same services on the second A321 line at the Toulouse site. These include preparing the fuselage and wings with cabin equipment, electrical systems, cockpit components, and surface treatments to ensure a smooth workflow.

“This expansion reflects the strength of our partnership with Airbus,” says Cédric Eloy, CEO of Daher Industrial Services. “We successfully supported the launch of the first Airbus A321 FAL, and we’re now continuing the journey with the second final assembly line.”

For long-haul jets, Daher will continue working on one in every two A350s built, offering installation, assembly, inspection and technical support. The ramp-up plan will take production to 12 aircraft per month by 2028. Nearly 200 Daher staff are on this programme, set to grow to 260 by end-2026.

The A330 contract covers sidewalls, stowage bins and oxygen module integration, continuing a 30-year relationship. A 45-person team supports four aircraft per month.

“These renewals confirm Daher’s strategic role and our ability to support the production ramp‑up of long‑haul aircraft programs,” adds Eloy.
