Production Falcon 2000LXS aircraft will receive the fourth-generation Honeywell Aerospace flight deck, which will also be offered as a retrofit for all Falcon 2000-EASy series jets.

Dassault Aviation has selected Honeywell Aerospace’s EASy IV flight deck for the Falcon 2000 EASy platform, bringing the latest generation of the cockpit technology to one of business aviation’s most successful aircraft families.

The upgrade will modernise the Falcon 2000 cockpit with new capabilities designed to improve pilot awareness, streamline operations and support future regulatory requirements. The selection builds on a longstanding collaboration between Honeywell Aerospace and Dassault Aviation and extends advanced cockpit technologies already available on the Falcon 6X, 7X and 8X aircraft.

“Dassault Aviation and Honeywell Aerospace have worked together for decades to deliver advanced technologies that support safe, efficient and reliable operations for Falcon operators around the world,” said Linnea Whisler, president, Commercial Original Equipment (OE), Honeywell Aerospace. “The selection of EASy IV for the Falcon 2000 demonstrates our shared commitment to continuously improving safety and the flying experience while helping operators meet evolving operational and regulatory requirements.”

The EASy IV flight deck introduces a range of enhancements designed to improve situational awareness and operational efficiency. Features include upgraded cockpit displays, enhanced navigation capabilities, upgraded weather detection capabilities and expanded connectivity features.

The system also incorporates technologies designed to help pilots better manage complex operating environments, including improved runway awareness tools, enhanced flight path visualisation and additional decision-support capabilities during critical phases of flight.

With the deployment of the Falcon 2000's EASy IV cockpit, all Dassault Falcon platforms will operate on a common avionics system. Now all Falcon platforms, including the Falcon 6X and Falcon 10X, will benefit from consistent technology enhancements and advanced capabilities.

For existing Falcon 2000-EASy operators, the upgrade provides a pathway to modernise aircraft already in service while addressing avionics obsolescence and introducing new capabilities that align with the latest operational requirements. For new aircraft customers, EASy IV delivers a common cockpit experience across the broader Falcon family.

To date, more than 700 Falcon 2000 aircraft have been produced, accumulating more than 3.8 million flight hours worldwide.
