Doncasters orders casting furnace for Alabama facility

Aerospace casting manufacturer Doncasters Group will benefit from high vacuum capabilities, state of the art controls and increased automation with Teach Pour technology. Installation will be later this year.

Doncasters Group has ordered a 300 pound Vacuum Precision Investment Casting furnace for its Doncasters Southern Tool facility in Oxford, Alabama. The order includes startup and installation with delivery scheduled before the end of 2021.

The furnace being built is equipped with high vacuum capabilities, state of the art controls, increased automation with Teach Pour and other items that will give this furnace exceptionally high productivity for its class as well as future upgrades for the end user.

This order represents the 16th Vacuum Precision Investment ordered from Consarc Corporation for delivery in North America in the last 24 months. Globally, Consarc has received 30 orders for this equipment in the last 24 months.
