Maeve anticipated future demand for aircraft in the 70-90 seat range, as well as better environmental performance. It will access this market with a clean sheet design that sets new standards in sustainability.

The M80 is a clean sheet design with a newly integrated hybrid propulsion system resulting in reduction of mission energy and fuel consumption. This makes it the perfect replacement for regional jets and turboprops.

16 February 2022 Venturi Aviation and Airborne will partner on lightweight composite structures for the Echelon 01 all-electric aircraft, due to be launched in 2028.

The companies' collaboration has the objective to develop a digital and automated factory for composite lightweight structures which is much more flexible and dynamic and is based on on-demand manufacturing.
