Using the same airframe as Joby’s battery-electric aircraft, the demonstrator has a fuel tank which stores up to 40 kilograms of liquid hydrogen, alongside a reduced mass of batteries.

8 May 2024 Joby’s two pre-production prototype aircraft have completed more than 1,500 flights, spanning a total distance of more than 33,000 miles, over the past four years.
