The great news about TRIM® OG223 heavy duty metalworking oil is that it grinds titanium as well as, or even better than, heavily chlorinated grinding oils. This is especially relevant to manufacturers of aerospace fixings. The use of chlorinated oil with active sulphur additives is not an option in this sector as it can compromise the life of the part.

Formulated as a medium to heavy-duty grinding oil, TRIM® OG223 is ideal for grinding hardened steel alloys, stainless steels and inconels as well as titanium. It can also be used to machine all materials, including yellow metals, in high pressure applications.

This low-odour product contains an excellent extreme-pressure additive package for efficient metal removal. Its hydrocracked base oil is responsible for a very high flash point and low misting characteristics. TRIM® OG223 is low foaming, exhibits excellent oxidation stability and is fully compatible with copper containing alloys.

TRIM® OG223 was developed at the Master Chemical Europe R&D laboratory in Needham Market to meet the specific needs of European manufacturers. Designed to be used neat, TRIM® OG223 is available in 204 litre drums, 1000 litre IBCs or in bulk quantities.
