Firth Rixson today announced that it has reached a long-term agreement to supply Rolls Royce with conventional closed die forgings. The announcement was made during the Grand Opening ceremonies of Firth Rixson Forgings LLC, the Company's fourth closed die forging facility. Firth Rixson will manufacture these products in the newly commissioned Georgia based facility.
"This agreement is a crucial step in our continuing growth in Aerospace market, and builds on our already successful relationship with Rolls Royce," said David Mortimer, CEO of Firth Rixson.
