Kaman Corporation (NASDAQ-GS:KAMN) announced today that its Composites Division (Kaman) has been awarded a contract for the Learjet 85 aircraft program.
Kaman will manufacture composite passenger entry and over-wing exit doors. The Learjet 85 aircraft is a new mid-sized business jet built primarily from composites and features advances in aerodynamics, structures and efficiency.

Kaman specializes in composite aerospace structures and we look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities and competitiveness on the Learjet 85 aircraft program," stated James Larwood, Composites Division president.
Kaman will build the doors at its facility in Darwen, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
