Tyco Electronics has introduced HarnWare harness design software's latest revision V5.4. This new version integrates a number of improvements and enhancements over previous editions. HarnWare harness design software is the premier harness design suite used in the military and aerospace electronics industry.
HarnWare harness design software allows designers to produce drawings and specifications for a wide range of wire harnesses. The finished drawing packages produced by HarnWare contain general assembly drawing, wire lists, complete bill of materials, wiring schematics, labor estimate, harness weight estimate and other items like, a marker page, 3 dimensional model and lay up board. Additional outputs and features are available too, depending on the application. For NBC contamination survivable harness design, HarnWare offers an option to calculate exposed polymeric material surface area – SurfCalc option*
HarnWare V5.4 adds further functionality with a number of improvements. Some of the main upgrades include: IGES export options for HarnVis, support of Visio 2007, support of Windows Vista and Vista security features. Additionally, the HarnVis user interface is improved and more easily navigated. In addition to the functionality improvements, Harnware V5.4 includes a complete update to Tyco Electronics' part number and product catalog for improved component selection options.
