Aerospace Testing, Design & Manufacturing Expo will take place at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre on 15 –17 April 2008.  The event has been developed from the successful Aerospace Testing show format to cover the full spectrum of aerospace design, testing, evaluation, manufacturing, quality and compliance.

The exhibition brings together under one roof the latest technologies and capabilities from around the world.  Leading companies participating include EADS Deutschland GmbH, MOOG FCS, Honeywell Sensing and Control, GE Inspection Technologies Systems GmbH and Olympus Industrial.

The show also offers a range of attractive free events, including a conference with over 100 expert presentations, live demonstrations and specialist workshops. Visitors will also be able to book places on technical tours of local centres of aerospace excellence, including the EADS Flight Test Centre and the Bundeswehr Technical and Airworthiness Center for Aircraft.

The recruitment of young people into the aerospace industry is a matter of vital importance and the show has a specially designed student programme. This will include co-ordinated attendance by student groups from key aerospace programme universities in the region, notably the University of Bunderswehr & Technical University of Munich (TUM). The Bavarian Minister for Science & Education will make a keynote presentation on the importance of aerospace engineering to the national economy. Students will also be able to discuss career opportunities with aerospace companies.

Adding further visitor appeal, the European Telemetry conference will be co-located with show. Hosted by the German Society of Telemetering, the conference will focus on the most recent innovations in methods, systems, and instrumentation from industry, researchers and laboratories all around the world.
