PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Composites Testing Laboratory Ltd
Composites Testing Laboratory today announced that it has been awarded AC7122 Non Metallic Materials Testing accreditation by PRI NADCAP and has just completed a major expansion of its fatigue testing facilities for advanced composite materials.
The accreditation follows in-depth auditing by the PRI Nadcap in the category of Non Metallic Materials Testing, and is an addition to the company's existing ISO-17025 accreditation.
The expansion of fatigue testing facilities has involved the purchase and commissioning of 5 new servo-hydraulic test frames, bringing the number of fatigue test machines at CTL to 7 in total - up to a load capacity of 250kN.
"Nadcap accreditation represents a major achievement for CTL and will allow us to grow our business even further, particularly in the most high-tech composites sector – aerospace. The investment in new fatigue machines will greatly increase our ability to meet our customers' demands for fatigue testing of composites in many industries, including automotive and wind energy," said Mr. Mike Naylor, Managing Director of CTL.
