PRESS RELEASE

REMOS Aircraft has successfully completed the first phase of a stringent ASTM Compliance Audit administered by the Light Aircraft Manufacturer's Association (LAMA). The voluntary test, which involved an on-site inspection of the manufacturing process, was conducted last week by LAMA President Tom Gunnarson.
After visiting the factory in Germany, Gunnarson said: "I was very impressed by the uncompromising quality and safety philosophy applied by REMOS Aircraft. The production line and finished aircraft confirm our high expectations toward technical products made in Germany."
LAMA was asked by the FAA to develop and process the audit program to assure that manufacturers are producing aircraft that are properly engineered and backed up by the appropriate documents. Production lines are inspected to verify that the aircraft being assembled comply with the manufacturing and quality assurance system.. In a sense, the program is like the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, only it's for aircraft.
Dr. Frank Doering, manager of REMOS Aircraft in Germany, said: "We view the LAMA Audit as a vital source of confirmation for compliance of the ASTM standards. The on-site inspection, guided by an extensive checklist and made by Tom Gunnarson has verified the quality, precision and craftsmanship inherent in each REMOS G-3, which is a direct benefit to our consumers. We are pleased to share the results of this phase with the public."
REMOS Aircraft has become a leader in the Light Sport Aircraft class, proving itself highly popular with Sport Pilots and flight training operations across North America.
