Unison Industries has signed a life of program contract valued at $400M with Hamilton Sundstrand to supply electrical components for a broad range of engine applications. The deal includes permanent magnet generators for the PW1000, and Electrical systems and Power products for numerous legacy engines.
The award-winning PurePower® PW1000G engine delivers double-digit improvements in fuel burn, environmental emissions, noise and operating costs. Pratt & Whitney's game-changing Geared Turbofan™ engine has already been proven in unprecedented testing, and is currently in development to power the next generation of commercial aircraft, from 10,000 to 40,000 pounds of thrust.
