Tecnam today announced that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued Major Change Approval 10041442 confirming the increase in the Tecnam P2002JF's Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) to 620 kg.
"EASA's certification of the increased MTOW follows on to the EASA's recent approval to permit night VFR flights in the Tecnam P2002JF equipped with the Garmin 500, is part of our continuing drive to offer Tecnam customers and operators even more options that help ensure safe and smooth flying" said Paolo Pascale, Tecnam's Managing Director. "The Tecnam P2002JF is one of Europe's most popular single engine aeroplanes and is firmly established as the single engine aeroplane of choice by so many Flight Training Organisations."
