PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product Development Company, today announced that Lockheed Martin's Engineering Process Improvement Center (EPIC) has added Mathcad to its preferred supplier agreement with PTC as a tool for critical engineering calculations. Mathcad provides industry leading capabilities to create, automate, document, and reuse engineering calculations in the product development process. PTC recently added Mathcad to its product offering when it acquired Mathsoft Engineering and Education, Inc. in April 2006. Lockheed Martin is also a customer of PTC Pro/ENGINEER for the development of detailed, intuitive and realistic digital product representations, PTC Windchill® for content and process management and PTC Arbortext for dynamic publishing.

PTC's addition of Mathcad to its product portfolio now allows customers to easily implement integrated and efficient engineering calculation management. This can result is saving valuable engineers' time and reducing errors.
