PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: PEI-Genesis
PEI-Genesis, the international distributor of commercial, industrial and military connectors, has extended its franchise agreement with Amphenol to cover the manufacturer's MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II and III military circular connectors.
This development means that Amphenol's LJT, JT and TV connector ranges - and also the SJT variant - are all now available with the PEI-Genesis 2-day assembly service, which represents a dramatic cut in the industry's typical lead times of several weeks for this type of product.
PEI-Genesis achieves its unrivalled level of service by carrying large stocks of piece parts and using special in-house developed robotic assembly
machines.
The company is QPL listed by the US Department of Defense for assembling the Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 connectors both in the USA and at the PEI-Genesis European headquarters in Basingstoke.
Suitable for use in a diverse range of defence and aerospace applications, Amphenol's MIL-DTL-38999 connectors cover a broad spectrum of styles, sizes and planforms.
The Series I and II connectors (LJT and JT respectively) feature aluminium shells, while the Series III connectors (TV) can be specified with
aluminium, stainless-steel or composite shells. Available plating finishes include cadmium olive drab, nickel and zinc cobalt.
