PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Airbus Atlantic Colomiers (Toulouse) (was STELIA Aerospace Toulouse)
Christian Cornille, Aerolia Group sas CEO and Raphaël Duflos, VP Chief of Procurement & Supply Chain, signed an agreement setting to 6 months the commitment timeframe for its firm orders with the 14 major partners of the French Leader in Aerostructures.
In addition to the already operational actions at Aerolia such as the signing of Supplier Charters since 2010 or the partnership agreements on Research and Development since 2011, Aerolia continues its long-term "win-win" relationship with its Supply Chain by signing this new contractual commitment.
"This approach, which was launched by the GIFAS and which we fully support, will give a better visibility to our partners and will help them secure their manufacturing and delivery processes; each one of our suppliers will also benefit from a deeper trust from its industrial and financials partners", said Christian Cornille.
With this firm 6-month commitment in value, "we want to secure the whole chain of our partners by associating them fully to our development strategy, inviting them to duplicate this commitment to their own suppliers", declared Raphaël Duflos. "This application to suppliers is indeed essential and it is necessary for all the links in the chain to benefit from this visibility, which will enable them to better anticipate their needs in terms of capacity, better manage their workload and thus obtain financing to support their growth."
This agreement was signed at GIFAS (Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales), in the presence of Bernard Espannet, General Secretary of GEAD (Groupe des Equipements Aéronautiques et de Défense) and "Comité AERO-PME" (aerospace SMEs' committee) with the following companies: Aeroteam Services, Armoa, Auvergne Aeronautique, Slicom, Daher Aerospace, Eskulanak, Esm Elements Standard Mécaniques, Figeac Aeronautique, Induxial, Map Mécanique Aeronautique Pyrénéenne, Mecahers, Mecachrome, Rafaut, Rossi, Aero Equipments Sa and Simair Sa.
