Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI), ranking among the top hundred global players in the aerospace and defense arena, is pleased to be signing a contract for the development, qualification and supply of ejection seats for TAI's New Generation HURKUS-B Basic Trainer with Martin Baker Aircraft Co.Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of ejection seats. The contract is initially for 15 aircraft with an option for a further 40 aircraft. This contract marks another phase in the growing relationship between TAI and Martin Baker which was started in 2008 with the HURKUS Program and continued with the T-38 Modernization Program. The two companies hope this contract will lead to further cooperation on other future programs.
