PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: ETAP France (was IGE+XAO Group)
IGE+XAO Group announces the creation of I.G.E.+X.A.O. DO BRASIL, a distribution and services subsidiary in Brazil.
This new company is based near São José dos Campos in the state of Sao Paulo, a technological park for businesses working in industries such as aerospace, automotive and new technologies in Latin America.
Tasked with distributing the Group's software, I.G.E.+X.A.O. DO BRASIL will be an Electrical PLM centre of excellence (life cycle management of electrical installations) for the Americas; the Group already has sites in Montreal and Dallas.
"This new subsidiary marks the Group's first direct installation in South America, a region that was previously managed from France and Spain, and via partnerships. Brazil represents a potentially important market for the Group, in particular in the manufacturing production and transport sectors. I.G.E.+X.A.O. DO BRASIL will have to respond – among others – to the sharp increase in needs of the Embraer company, which has chosen to implement the Group's PLM Electrical software, and to the demands of its subcontractors" explained Alain Di Crescenzo.
