PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Daher
The new Falcon 5X from Dassault Aviation rolled out today and is expected to make its maiden flight this summer. Daher, responsible for the design and manufacture of major aerostructure components for the Falcon 5X, would like to congratulate Dassault Aviation for successfully bringing this project – unveiled for the first time in October 2013 – to fruition.
Daher will also be presenting the rear section of the Falcon 5X fuselage, equipped with a door and designed by the equipment supplier, at its stand at the Paris Air Show.
Daher, a partner of the Falcon 5X program ever since its launch, has put its specialist experience in cutting-edge technologies, along with its assembly expertise, engineering know-how and its capacity to control the entire supply chain, to optimum effect to support Dassault Aviation.
Daher was responsible for the design and manufacture of major aerostructure components for the Falcon 5X, in particular:
– the upper section of the passenger cabin, with the latter also being equipped with an emergency exit and the baggage hold door,
– the lower front section of the fuselage.
“We are especially proud to be taking part in this high-tech program. Having supported Dassault Aviation for many years and as a partner for the Falcon 5X, 7X and 8X programs, we would like to congratulate the teams on the successful completion of this fantastic project”, commented Didier Kayat, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Daher.
