Airtech Advanced Materials Group has been awarded the 2015 Non-Production Supplier of the Year award by Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. Spirit recognized 18 suppliers for superior performance at a banquet in Wichita, Kansas on August 27, 2015.
“Spirit is on a transformation journey to becoming a world-class company, and we cannot achieve that without world-class partners,” said Ron Rabe, Spirit Senior Vice President of Operations. “Having the right partners that share our passion for delivering high quality-on time products to our customers is critical. We are proud to recognize these suppliers and look forward to working with them in the future as we continue our transformation.”
Spirit is a robust company, and performance improvement is the key to success. Quality improvement remains at the top of the company's priority list for 2015, with supply chain quality being a significant area of focus. This award is given to suppliers who have met or exceeded performance expectations.
