No. 1005 is an electrically-heated 350ºF (˜177ºC) cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for curing long composite parts held in fixtures at the customer's facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 108"W x 18"D x 18"H. 15KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the unit, while a 1000 CFM, 1-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow across the load.
This Grieve cabinet oven features 4" insulated walls throughout, aluminized steel exterior, Type 304 2B stainless steel interior, motor-operated vertical lift door, 8" x 10" double pane Pyrex window for viewing the load, interior oven light and tower light to indicate oven status.
All safety equipment required for handling flammable solvents is onboard No. 1005, including motorized dampers on the intake and exhaust for accelerated cooling. A 29" x 25" x 4" thick pleated fresh air filter and photohelic pressure gauge with alarm to monitor internal oven pressure are also included.
This Grieve cabinet oven also features a digital programming temperature controller with tamper-proof cover, strip chart recorder and fused disconnect switch. No. 1005 is built to NEMA 12 electrical standards.
