Digital avionics technology leader, Becker Avionics International, has announced the debut of the new BXT6513 remote transponder (dual antenna) with ADS-B out. This transponder, which is designed for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft applications, meets the FAA TSO. The lightweight and highly versatile unit can be controlled through dedicated control units, integrated Radio Tuning (RT) units, FMS, and EFIS glass cockpit displays. Also included are exclusive features specifically designed for special mission aviation, such as airborne law enforcement and ISR profiles.
For business aircraft, the BXT6513 features flexible integration with current digital avionics packages or retrofit for legacy cockpits with TCAS I and will soon be certified for TCAS II. Vibration tested and certified, the BXT6513 is the ideal remote ADS-B out solution for any rotorcraft or harsh environment application.
