PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Huntingdon Fusion Techniques, HFT
The majority of Tungsten Electrodes used today still contain the radioactive and carcinogenic compound of Thoria or Thorium Oxide.
Some years ago, the development team at Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Limited, designed a new Tungsten Electrode which does not contain Thoria and even works 10 times better than the dangerous Thoriated Tungsten Electrodes.
The 10 times improvement in arc striking capability of the Multi Strike™ Electrodes allows operators to keep their processes running longer without the need to keep changing and keep grinding their electrode tips.
This feature makes the electrodes particularly useful in all automatic welding processes, particularly where the arc must be switched on and off frequently.
In addition, users with continuous welding processes have found that their arc stays on longer when using Multi Strike™ Electrodes.
These specially formulated tungsten electrodes are fully traceable back to their original batch giving the user a guarantee of product quality, reliability, repeatability and consistency.
They are available in packets of 10 tungstens, from sizes 1.0mm up to 4.0mm. HFT also offer sample product packs of the tungstens, upon request to 'try before you buy.'
