This is the place where the UK supply chain meets face-to-face with engineering management, spanning: process, control and plant industries; R & D; design; test; production & procurement from OEMs, integrators and top tier industry players.
Registration numbers for visitors this year are nearly 50% more than at the same time last year; they will be coming from a range of engineering specialisms, including; measurements & monitoring, process control, drives and controls, sensors and systems, automation, fluid handling, food processing, machining and many more from a range of sectors.
The Show has already attracted leading names from the industries including: Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK; BAE Systems; Airbus; Hexcel; Dassault Systemes and many more who will be looking to meet and do business with other industry individuals.
Alison Willis, industrial divisional director at Easyfairs, said: "Our event is unique as it is open to everybody within the supply chain and that's why we're very excited about this year.
"As well as having a new Connected Manufacturing zone, we will bring together the latest advances in engineering, covering innovations, new developments and vital information; and driving efficiency and profitability to enable UK manufacturers to compete and grow in an ever-competitive global market."
Whether you are a visitor or an exhibitor, Advanced Engineering will not only provide you with a business forum and supply chain showcase for your own sector, but will also introduce you to new opportunities in industries using related technologies and services.
Co-locating as part of Advanced Engineering 2017 are five distinct zones:
• Aero Engineering
• Composites Engineering
• Automotive Engineering
• Performance Metals Engineering
• Connected Manufacturing - NEW FOR 2017
One of the hubs which is being expanded this year is Enabling Innovation, hosted by Magna International, a leading global automotive supplier. This is a dedicated area for up to 50 carefully selected SMEs and micro businesses which are at the early stages of their development, perhaps prototyping.
New to the show this year is the Connected Manufacturing zone, which will catalyse the business and technology opportunities that exist between innovators, customers and suppliers - including those within big data, automation and more. This marks a significant step in the revolution of Industry 4.0.
Now in its ninth year, the Show has record breaking visitor numbers, bringing together over 700 firms - all looking to source, specify and invest in the most up-to-date products and explore the latest industry innovations.
Organised by Easyfairs, Advanced Engineering 2017 is the UK's largest meeting place for advanced engineering professionals. The show takes place on 1-2 November, at the NEC, Birmingham, bringing together the array of communities within the advanced engineering industry.
