The tests to find the best efficiency between propeller, engine and aircraft on the new Rotax 915 Turbo powered Texan Evo Rg, came to the last stage with the arrival of the 3-blade MT V34 propeller. Many 2 and 3 blade propellers with different characteristics have been tested before. and have shown remarkably different performances. The tests covered the entire flight envelope of the aircraft including high-altitude performance up to 18,000 Ft. The tests will also include the verification of the FADEC power management system developed by MT and supplied with the propeller.
