M&I Materials, the world's leading aerospace tungsten provider is pleased to announce the company achieved compliance with the new, stringent AS9100 Rev D quality system requirements for aviation, space, and defence markets. The standard, awarded by the certifying body Lloyds Register, highlights the outstanding quality provided by M&I Materials. The award is especially notable as M&I completed the certification 10 months ahead of the September 2018 application deadline.
The new revision of AS9100 includes an increased focus on risk management, supplier management controls, on-time delivery and product conformity measurements. M&I Materials has more than 40 years of experience in the manufacture of Wolfmet tungsten alloy components and this excellence in tungsten undoubted aided the award of AS9100 Rev D certification.
