Polytech (www.polytech.se), a subsidiary of Cedip Infrared Systems, will unveil at the forthcoming 47th Paris Air Show, the Cobolt 275 CG - a high performance multi-sensor gimbal for airborne surveillance missions.
Visitors to Cedip & Polytech booth #G9, Hall 4 will be able to see live demonstrations of a range of products including the new Cobolt 275CG.
The compact new gimbal is only 11 inches in diameter and has a total mass of less than 12 kg making it perfect for use with light helicopters and drones. The C275 CG integrates a high performance thermal camera as well as a colour day camera. Operating using 4 axes of stabilisation results are of the highest quality.
A miniature inertial power station is integrated into the optical frame enabling geo-referencing and geo-pointing missions as well as interfacing with 3D cartography. To facilitate tracking of moving targets and locking on static scenes the Colbalt C275 CG also comes standard with VILGA video tracker technology.
Technical specialists will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions on the Cobolt 275 CG as well as Polytech's family of high performance gimbals designed for airborne surveillance, search & rescue and law enforcement missions.
