PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Tekna Powders
Tekna announces that it has successfully completed metal powder qualifications with leading aircraft manufacturer Boeing. This further positions Tekna as the key powder supplier for aerospace OEMs and their related Additive Manufacturing Service Bureaus.
Tekna has developed high quality powders dedicated to additive manufacturing applications. The main features of such powders are high flowability, high density and high purity at controlled production costs. These properties are attained by applying the patented RF Plasma Technology, developed and perfected by Tekna over the last 30 years.
"Tekna is proud to meet Boeing's demanding BMS specification and to be its first qualified powder manufacturer for BMS Titanium (Ti64) and BMS Aluminum (AlSi10Mg). Furthermore, Tekna manages a robust supply chain, from ingot to packaged spherical powders, thus ensuring reliable supply and material traceability" says Luc Dionne, CEO at Tekna.
