High speed, ultra precise spline drive digital rotating torque transducers per AND 10262 & AND 20002
Thursday, 29 October 2020

Announcing the MCRT® 48850/51V Series Digital Torque Sensors with extreme measurement accuracy and fast installed response. The MCRT® 48850/51V Series has high mechanical overloads and electrical overrange. Output signals for torque, speed and horsepower are provided as analog (±5 or ±10 Vdc) and digital over RS232/422/485 serial port. Available capacities from 50 to 10,000 lbf-in (5.65 to 1,130 N-m).

Spline and Flange configuration matches AND 10262 and 20002. Ceramic hybrid bearings and high speed grease are standard features. They provide very high speed operation, up to 30,000 rpm, without the complexities of air-oil mist lubrication. The MCRT® 48850/51V is compatible with Corrosive Red Oil and Skydrol. They are available in two accuracy grades: ±0.05% and ±0.03% of full scale combined non-linearity and hysteresis, and have world class temperature performance. Mechanical overloads of 300% offer a safety margin in the presence of high startup torques or large torsional oscillations. Electrical overrange of 150% avoids clipping of real world torque peaks and driveline torsionals reducing potential for errors in the average torque measurement. Output bandwidth is 1 kHz with 13 user selectable low pass filters. Included interface software allows fast PC setup and re-configuration while selecting from up to 33 units of measure, all without re-calibrating. All are calibrated CW and CCW to rated load in our ISO 17025:2017, NVLAP accredited laboratory (NVLAP lab code 200487-0).

They are well suited for a broad range of applications including both performance and endurance testing of small pumps, motors, servo motors, gearboxes, actuators, etc.
