Cenco International, the business unit of Techspace Aero (Belgium) specializing in the design, manufacture, and commissioning of engine test facilities, and Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Central Institute of Aviation Motors named in honour of P.I. Baranov» (CIAM), the State Scientific Center of Russian Federation, carrying out the complex scientific researches and developments in the field of aero-engines building are pleased to announce their Partnership covering the design & build of high-tech engine test facilities.

More specifically, the Collaboration Agreement covers the general and detailed design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of large and complex test facilities for aero-engine and/or industrial gas turbine development for the benefit of end-users worldwide. These test facilities typically require the pre- and post-treatment of the gas flow going through the engine or engine modules to test, in order to meet specific flow characteristics, such as total mass flow, total pressure and total temperature. Altitude Test Facilities and Turbine or Compressor Test Benches are examples of such facilities.

The motivation of this Cooperation Agreement is the desire to join their complementary capabilities and expertise in order to strengthen their presence, products, and services to customers worldwide.

The signature event took place in the CIAM offices in Moscow on March 24, 2010, in the presence of Mr. Vladimir SKIBIN, General Director of CIAM, and Mr. Vincent DUPREZ, General Manager of Cenco International.
