EMRISE CORPORATION, a multi-national manufacturer of defense, aerospace and industrial electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received approximately $1 million in new orders for custom-built military power supplies to be used in three separate, fixed- and rotary-wing military aircraft programs. The orders are the first received by EMRISE for use in new systems on these aircraft.
Shipments of the power supplies included in these new orders are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year and continue through 2011.
The orders were received from existing customers in the U.K. by the Company's U.K.-based subsidiary, Pascall Electronics Ltd., which will design and build the power supplies at its facility on the Isle of Wight in England.
EMRISE Chairman and CEO Carmine T. Oliva said, "In addition to receiving upfront funding to develop these custom-built power supplies, we are very pleased that we have received these orders for additional systems on these three military aircraft.
"Selling products that we design and build for use in military projects has long been an important part of our business," Olivia added. "We have an excellent track record and reputation of providing a robust line of custom products that have proven their ability to meet the stringent specifications required for use in rugged military applications."
