In recent weeks CURTI Costruzioni Meccaniche S.p.A. presented to the Aeroclub of Italy the documentation required to support the declaration of conformity of the aircraft Zefhir VDS, according to the regulation Annex IV of Presidential Decree 133 of 09/07/2010.
Thanks to the precious contribution of the Aeroclub d’Italia, which analyzed and provided useful feedback on the documentation presented, a positive evaluation of the contents of compliance presented, which were therefore declared suitable for what was required in the same regulation.
Thanks to this approval and to what is reported in the Ministerial Decree No. 503 of the 10/12/2021, CURTI will be the first Italian company to be able to produce and register helicopters with maximum take-off weight of 600 kg qualifying as Advanced VDS.
