Issued by: CybAero AB
CybAero AB has signed a Memorandum of Understanding stating that the parties will jointly develop a new autonomous unmanned helicopter.
Today CybAero's new partner, whose name is not official yet, manufactures several UAV:s, mainly fixed wing aircraft. CybAero has many years of helicopter development experience and currently manufactures the APID 60 model. Both companies will now collaborate in the development of a vehicle in a new size segment. The new development project is called ALCA.
CybAero's CEO Leif Erlandsson comments:
– We're very pleased to sign this MoU after an extensive dialogue. Our partner is one of the largest aerospace corporations which gives us a global market scope but also access to a lot of know-how and resources normally unavailable for a small company like CybAero.
– Last year we signed a teaming agreement with Indra Sistemas and with this new agreement we now benefit from business connections with two of the largest system integrators in the world. I look at the future with great anticipation!
