Precision Surfacing Solutions, a leading global supplier of equipment and services for precision lapping, polishing, grinding, and honing, announced today that it has acquired KEHREN GmbH, a provider of machine tools and systems for high-precision grinding applications based in Hennef, Germany.

“KEHREN was founded in 1934 so this acquisition will contribute another long established and well recognized precision machine tool brand to the Precision Surfacing Solutions product portfolio. We look forward to the opportunity to introduce the KEHREN product line to the over 9,000 existing active global PSS customers, particularly those in North America and Asia,” said Brian Nelson, President and CEO of Precision Surfacing Solutions. “KEHREN also has a very complementary industrial customer base and will provide us with significant opportunities to cross-sell other PSS products. Finally, this acquisition also helps to diversify our customer base, offering further exposure to the aerospace, bearing, and industrial machine tool segments.
