PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Regal Rexnord
Regal Rexnord Corporation, a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of motion control solutions, electric motors and controls, power generation products and power transmission components, is pleased to announce that its Chihuahua, Mexico facility has achieved the prestigious AS9100 certification, effective January 30, 2025.
The AS9100 certification is a widely recognized quality management standard for the aerospace sector. It was awarded following a rigorous third-party assessment conducted by the Performance Review Institute (PRI). PRI's comprehensive audit reviewed the Quality Management System (QMS) processes at the Chihuahua plant, encompassing critical areas such as raw material receiving, saw, machining, shipping, purchase order review, purchasing, and the manufacturing of bearings.
“We are proud to receive the AS9100 certification in Chihuahua, which demonstrates our continued focus on delivering exceptional quality and value to our aerospace customers,” said Kevin Zaba, EVP & President of the Automation and Motion Control Segment at Regal Rexnord. “This certification achievement expands our number of AS9100 certified sites globally to 12 and further validates our processes and strengthens our position as a trusted partner for aerospace component manufacturing.”
The combination of the new plant — which opened in March 2024 — and its AS9100 certification amplifies Regal Rexnord’s growth strategy by expanding capacity, fostering cross-plant collaboration, and increasing operational efficiency. The newly certified facility plays a vital role in increasing production to meet the growing demand for Regal Rexnord aerospace components.
