PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: CycloTech GmbH
CycloTech continues to expand its presence in Germany and has moved into new premises at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus in Taufkirchen near Munich. With this move, the company becomes part of one of Europe's most significant centres for aerospace innovation.
The handover of the keys marks the official launch of operations at the campus and highlights CycloTech’s commitment to actively shaping the future of flight in collaboration with on-site partners.
The Ludwig Bölkow Campus represents a unique synergy of industry, research, education, and entrepreneurial spirit. The decision to make this location a cornerstone of the company’s growth strategy is based on a clear conviction: groundbreaking technologies emerge where pioneering spirit meets robust infrastructure. CycloTech is contributing its thrust vectoring technology to an environment that is consistently focused on the industrial realisation of advanced aviation innovations.
“Establishing a presence at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus is a clear commitment to an industrial vision based on partnership, excellence, and European technological expertise. We don’t just want to be present here — we want to co-create, accelerate, and prove that radical innovation can emerge at the heart of established structures,” says Dr.-Ing. Marcus Bauer, CEO of CycloTech.
Thilo Pinar, Managing Director of Ludwig Bölkow Campus GmbH, also emphasises the significance of this development: “CycloTech represents a new generation of aviation development. The decision to become part of the Ludwig Bölkow Campus confirms our role as a home for industrial trailblazers.”
The new site will support the expansion of industrial collaborations, further development of CycloRotor technology, and preparations for upcoming product maturity phases. A physical presence on campus provides direct links to established industry players, creates space for joint development projects, and lays the foundation for systematically scaling technological solutions.
CycloTech’s expansion into Bavaria is part of a long-term strategy. The company’s presence at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus exemplifies its ambition to bring future-oriented technology into application in close collaboration with leading actors in the aviation industry. The combination of deep technological expertise, proximity to industry, and strategic site selection forms the basis for the next stages in the company’s development.
