Threadlock Precision, an operating platform that acquires and grows precision manufacturing companies, today announced the acquisition of J&F Machine, a California-based CNC machining business that has served aerospace, defense, and commercial markets since 1977.
From its beginnings as a small, closely held job shop, J&F Machine has grown into an advanced production facility, offering high-tolerance CNC milling, turning, and assemblies, and is accredited with AS9100D. J&F Machine has long been a trusted supplier of precision components for leading manufacturers in aerospace and defense.
The acquisition of J&F Machine marks a key early step in Threadlock Precision's long-term mission to build an integrated network of high-quality precision manufacturing companies serving mission-critical industries. By providing operational expertise, technology-driven modernization, and access to growth capital, Threadlock is positioned to modernize and strengthen the competitiveness of the U.S. manufacturing supply chain.
"J&F Machine nicely illustrates the type of high-quality, customer-focused business we are committed to backing," said Todd McDonald, CEO of Threadlock Precision. "We look forward to honoring the company's legacy while providing the resources and strategic support to help it scale and thrive in today's competitive environment."
"Joining Threadlock Precision allows us to preserve the legacy of J&F Machine while unlocking new opportunities for our employees and customers," said Micheline Varnum, President of J&F Machine. "Their focus on modernization and growth ensures that we can continue delivering the quality, reliability, and service that our customers have come to expect."
